Glossary

The words of spectrum security.

Alert tablet
The point on site where the alert is received and managed.
Annotated event
A closed event with observations from the field. It is what produces data you can manage.
CAD
The computer-aided dispatch system of the client's control center.
Dispatch and closure
The two steps in handling an alert: sending the right guard and documenting what they found.
Escalation
An automatic notice to the next level up when an event has no closure.
False positive
A detected signal whose origin is not criminal or cannot be verified.
Fixed sensor
Equipment with permanent 24/7 coverage that tells you where to look.
Handheld detector
A radar-style handheld unit the guard uses for the fine search on the ground.
Heat map
A cumulative view of activity by zone and time of day.
Jamming
The act of leaving a site's wireless systems deaf.
Jamming event
A recorded detection, with a start time, duration and location.
Law 21.719
Chile's personal data protection law, fully in force from December 1, 2026.
Law 21.720
Chilean law that bans selling, carrying or using signal jammers, in force since December 2024.
One · Sector · Hyperlocation
The three configurations of the same sensors. They are levels of location certainty, not of coverage.
Signal jammer
A device that emits massive noise over the frequencies wireless systems use, leaving them deaf. Also called simply a jammer.
Spectrum security
Tank's category: seeing what happens in a site's spectrum and turning what you see into response, evidence and intelligence.
The invisible perimeter
The spectrum that all of a site's defenses depend on. Every site has two perimeters: the one you can see and the one you can't.
Three layers of security
Physical (fences, doors, guards), electronic (cameras, alarms, sensors, radios) and spectral (the signal all of that communicates through). The first two depend on the third.
Time to target
The actual time between the start of an attack and the moment someone from the team reaches the person carrying it out. It includes the guard's search.

The absence of an alarm is no sign that everything is fine.
