Frequently asked questions

What we get asked in every meeting.

The threat

We haven't had any alarms. Are we fine?

The absence of an alert is the first symptom of an attack, not proof that there isn't one. The first effect of a jammer is silence.

They don't attack us anymore.

The phenomenon doesn't go away: it moves when it meets resistance and adapts to the measures put in place.

Are small jammers dangerous?

Yes. Any device that transmits on the right frequency, with enough power and continuously, causes jamming. A low-power one can still be used to steal; it just has to be closer.

Tank

We already have cameras and alarms.

They all depend on the spectrum, and none of them detects when its own frequency is being jammed. A single jammer neutralizes all of them at once.

My electronic security provider already covers that.

It can't: it depends on the very layer that is under attack. You don't replace that provider; you protect what it already sold you.

I saw a cheaper detector.

A detector tells you there is a jammer somewhere. For the guard, that means looking for a needle in a haystack. What changes with Tank is certainty, and that there is a record.

So you only do jammer detection?

The jammer was the first attack Tank made visible, not the only one. The category is the security of the entire spectrum.

Operations

How much does one unit cover?

Up to 53 hectares with one sensor, a radius of 410 m. The configuration defines how much certainty you get: One covers wide, Sector subdivides, Hyperlocation gets down to 8×8 m.

Won't it flood me with false alarms?

Tank calibrates the sensitivity for your site, and the handheld detector lets you confirm on the ground.

What about integration with what I already have?

Tank integrates with your control center's CAD and with your cameras, and adapts to your existing ecosystem.

We were robbed. How do I know if a jammer was used?

Every attack is recorded with its date, time and location. By cross-referencing place and moment, the question goes from suspicion to data.

What does the law say?

Since December 2024, Chile's Law 21.720 makes it a crime to sell, carry or use jammers. Carrying one is already a crime.
